I am trying to install the latest single server release and ran the checker.php file which gave all the modules a thumbs up. when i go to install after setting the config.php options i get the “status2k/install/index.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncubeloaderlin_5.1 to be installed”. i am running a fully patched centos 5 server running up to date php, mysql services. i noticed that in your status2k systems requirements page it mentions that the ioncube loader files were included with the release but it must still require to download and install ioncube on the server. Do you absolutely need ioncube installed on your server? I love this script but am not sure what ioncube would do to my server. many thanks.
